Tawanda ‘Thai’ Mujaji (@ThawandaThai) has been appointed an A&R position at Anashe Media Group

Anashe Media Group, an Africa focused management, marketing and production firm has appointed Tawanda‘ Thai’Mujaji as Head of Artist & Repertoire (A&R) for South Africa. Anashe Media Group co-founder and multi-platinum producer Brian Soko shared, “This is an exciting development for Anashe, Thai was instrumental in my April visit to South Africa as he helped execute our productions with top SA artists including Cassper Nyovest, Chad Da Don, Locnville, Anathii and MaEzee – Thai understands the content creation process but more importantly he gets the business aspect of the industry”.

Thai will be responsible for identifying and engaging talented producers, artists and executing creative projects for Anashe across select genres of music; including management and market delivery. Thai will be reporting directly to Soko who is based in the United States (Atlanta) and will be partnered with Nina Hlalo Anashe’s Head of Business for South Africa.

With a degree in Branding & Advertising Mujaji brings to the role 10 years experience in the music industry executing projects in South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Kenya and Ghana via his independent studio and label PRO-TUNES MUZIK.Thai, an artist/producer/songwriter and performer has both as a solo act and as part of Clinch Crew, shared the stage with the likes of Khuli Chana, AKA, L-Tido, Rick Ross, Sean Paul, and Pharrell . Thai has been profiled in a number of publications across Africa including South Africa’s HYPE Magazine’s “Top 10 Artists to Look Out For” and featured on MTN & MTV Base Meets with Idris Elba.
