The model Tatenda Njanike has struck new heights in his career as he announced his qualification to represent Zimbabwe at the Mister Supranational 2021 modeling event. The winner of Mister Zimbabwe People's Choice 2019-20 made the announcement on social media and it was accompanied by a plea for funding to attend the 3 week event in Poland. In a post he wrote:

Mister Supranational is a contest that began in 2016 and it was launched as the parallel modelling contest to Miss Supranational which had been launched several years earlier in 2009 also in Poland. The most recent contest involved 41 countries and approximately 80 countries have participated in the contest, making it one of the most important male beauty pageants in the world. Due to the covid-19 pandemic the pageant was not held in 2020, making it the first year that the Miss and Mister Supranational contests were not held since their inception.
