Zimbabwe Hip Hop Artist Carlprit Leaves Footprints on US Billboard Charts

On the 17th of January 2010 Carlprit, a Zimbabwe Hip Hop Artist will herd to Miami Florida to shoot a video for “She Got That” a track that was produced by Grammy-nominated Young Yonny who has also done work for Trey Songz, Lil Wayne, Bird Man, Trina Jim Jones, Gucci Mane and Maya to name a few. 

While in Miami Carlprit will meet with Flo Rida to discuss a possible feature. The 23year old recording artist is currently representing Zimbabwe in the US billboard charts with his contribution to Cascada's ”Evacuate the Dance Floor”, this song has been a huge success globally and the launch pad for Carlprit's solo career. 

Recently Carlprit shot a 50 000 euro video that features models from Germany's “Next Top Model” which is a very popular television series, the song “ See You At The Top” featuring Bkay and Kazz will play a major part in the new season of the TV show which will be aired in February. 

This year Sony records will release a version of Dr. Alban's hit song “ My Life” which features Carlprit, Tony-T (R.I.O) and Doctor Alban. March will see Carlprit on Tour and there are negotiations to get him to open for Alicia Keys on her German leg of the tour (TBC), all in all, 2010 is going to be the year that puts Zimbabwe back into the media with Carlprit leading the campaign to dominate the global charts. 

 To help promote “Hustlers Academy” look out for a series of live video streams where Carlprit will perform tracks from the Mix-tape live and direct over the online platform www.u-stream.com The first performance will be announced over his website.

Carlprit features on the new Cascada banger, "Evacuate the dance floor". The Video was shot in LA and is a step up for Carlprit who will soon be on tour with Cascada to promote this new international club smash.
