Get Paper Boyz (G.P.B)

Reckon Muthaland Crunksters Jozi are the only swagged out African hip-hop crew?? Meet rising Zimbabwean, South African based stars G.P.B (Get Paper Boyz).

Thanks to their funky fresh cocktail of hip-hop and dancehall, Sean and Tyronne - that's Young Don and Rudeboy-T to their fans - are carving a niche of their own in the clubs. The success of their first three singles "Buk it Up", "Gonna be there" and "I Just Might" , has made G.P.B. one of the hottest acts to watch in 2010.

Following killer sets at Flava Thurzday at Club Premium in Rivonia, the duo got the nod to perform at Veejay Nonhle Thema's Birthday Party @ Club Inc in Braamfontein alongside gospel hop star Jub Jub.

2009 also witnessed the duo rocking The 45th Zambian Independence Party with Danny, Seductive Night @ Zouk in Sandton with khabonina Qubeka, The 2k Shine Party @ Shoosh in Midrand alongside Zuluboy, Bongo Riot, the Pimp-O-Logy, the J&B Party @ Capitol in Rosebank alongside the Crackboyz and the 2009 Channel O Music Video Awards Afterparty @ Moloko in Rosebank.

G.P.B. has worked with a number of underground artists and are now working on their first mixtape, KINGzville's Finest Vol.1. Listen to their single "Gonna be there" in the Speakerbox player on the right side of this page or download the song for free by clicking here.

So, what's so special about these brothers from beyond Beit Bridge? Well, how does a penchant for big-talking booty chasers and sexy, hip-shaking club beats grab you? And then there's their charismatic live performance too. But hey, don't believe us.
