To celebrate the release of Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid Lynx) members of the Ubuntu Zimbabwe LoCo team are holding a party in Harare. There will be a demo to showcase the special features that distinguish Ubuntu as an Operating System . It's a chance for Ubuntu developers, users and future users to get together and toast to Ubuntu and Free Software in general.
Venue: 335 Herbert Chitepo Street, Alliance Française (before Harvest International Offices) Date: Saturday 8th of May 2010 Time: 2.00 pm onwards
Please bring your own drinks and braai packs (braai stand and firewood will be provided). Drinks (local brands) will be available for sale (cash bar).Please bring blank CD' s if you want copies of Ubuntu Linux (CD's will also be available for sale)
