GoodFella Africa, the recording imprint for local rapper iLL Ceey stroke a distribution deal with WillowMead, A South Africa based artist management and distribution company.
The representatives of WillowMead were in the country last week to break bread with the king of local hip hop in a deal that will see Goodfella Africa artists, Djs and iLL Ceey's music on all the MTN cellphone network platforms in countries including South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana. Matter of fact, to put this in lamest terms, where ever MTN is, that boy iLL Ceey will be there.
In a statement ILL Ceey who is also co managed by Greedysouth Management said,
So they came up to Zim last week to meet up with us. They tried to get in touch with me a couple of times before but i had brushed the whole thing off until some things were made clear to me. They are above board yo, ligit! So on Saturday I signed a 3 year distribution deal with them. Basically what this means is i'll send them completed work and they'll push it for me online...
