Afrobeat Producers "Team Salut" to Release United Colours Of Africa E.P

Team Salut is a group of African-by-way of London Music Producers who have been making waves across the UK Afrobeats scene. Working hard around the clock, the team have cooked up a hot pot of bangers for their first official E.P titled United Colours Of Africa. Set to be released on the 7th September 2015 via independent label Krystal City, the compilation is available to pre- order on iTunes here.

The all male talent have been breathing tracks to life with their wholesome productions. Leading with their first official single on iTunes: ‘Struck’ ft Mista Silva and South African pop princess Siza, the E.P comes in a timely manner to get us through the rest of the summer!

The threesome have quickly made a name for themselves and have produced tracks for the likes of Ghanaian duo Kwamz and Flava, the popular Mista Silva and Sonaman, as well as Nigeria’s heavyweight and MTV 2015 MAMA’s winner ‘Davido’ to name a few.

Hailing from South West London, with African roots specifically Ghana, Nigeria and Sierra Leone, the boys have each fine-tuned their own sounds to reflect the clash of their surrounding cultures.

Mista Wood has over 10 years in the music bizz and specialises with the bass guitar. Mista Wood is responsible for many of the eclectic bass guitar riffs heard within Team Salut productions.

GKP’s attention to detail is immaculate. You can hear his signature fusion guitar licks across most of the productions giving their tracks the stamp of authenticity.

Side Chain Manny gained his name from his turbulent urge to incorporate effective side-chaining within many Team Salut tracks.

Together, their sound is an addictive mash-up of UK pop with a hot blend of African rhythms and hypnotic beats. .

From House, Trap, Drum ‘n’ Bass to Soul, Team Salut are never afraid to flex their musical muscles. “The United Colours of Africa EP is a showcase of Africa’s vast electronic sounds fused with elements of popular genres,” says the calm Mr Wood. Treat this EP as your invitation for you to step into our world musically… And we can’t wait for you to join us”.
