Mitsubishi, having announced its decision to end the production of the iconic World Rally Champion-based sedan earlier last year, unveils its plan for the Lancer Evolution Final Edition. Using the GSR model as a base, these Evos will use a slightly tuned 2.0L engine that churns out 303 horsepower and 305 pound-feet of torque; an improvement over the standard GSR’s specs of 291 and 300, respectively. The Final Edition will also feature new 13.8-inch front and 13-inch rear Brembo brakes, a unique black-painted aluminum roof and a new tuner world-friendly suspension system composed of Bilstein shocks and Eibach sport springs. While the colors offered will be a short selection between Pearl White, Rally Red, Mercury Gray and Octane Blue, each car will have a unique plaque affixed inside and be individually numbered out of 1600. Purchase yours for a sticker price of around $38,000 USD when it releases in November.
