He is nominated for 3 Zim hip-hop awards this year, best album, hip-hop personality of the year and people's choice. The 'Ibanga iroro' hitmaker has had a trailblazing year that has no end in sight. In Probeatz's artistic success in 2020 you can't overstate the role of his producer and collaborator Mclyne Beatz. Any song that features the two is certified to be a hit.
For You is the latest song from the album Twenty5 to get visuals. The video is the directive work of Charles Mugaviri Jr and it comes just two weeks after the video Vanonyepera which is off the same album and done by the same director. The visuals for For You featured great storytelling that doesn't get too lost in the story to forget to appreciated the vibe of the song. It's a total switch from the previously released Vanonyepera which was otherworldly to best describe it.
Shennice Ericah features on the For You video as Probeatz's love interest and she plays out the on screen chemistry to perfection. They're now five videos out from the 9 tracks that make up the Twenty5 album and from the looks of things we can expect more from Probeatz.
