St. Emmo

Afro-fusion artist St Emmo aka Emmerson T Mngangagwa, a music producer, Dj and Entrepreneur has released impactful visuals for his latest release “Rain”. St Emmo has been in the music business for quite a while working with artists such as Tererai Mugwadi, Rutendo Machiridza, Sylent Nqo, Hope Masoke and Vee Mukarati.

His latest release “Rain” was produced and recorded at So Sick Records Zimbabwe. The offering is very musical with a serenading guitar accompanied by a sample explaining the subject of love. Metaphorically rain has always been considered a symbol of hope. The visuals explore that direction of unpacking the hope amongst humans.

The music visuals for the single “Rain” are heavily layered exploring themes such as Police violence, community, diffusing conflict. St Emmo took to his social media to explain the concept of the impactful music video;

The concept of Rain is a direct reaction of mankind’s affection of love towards earth. Earth  as complex  as it seems it is a simple living organism which is capable of being physically and spiritually sensitive to our actions which are driving from our emotions (with every action there is a reaction). This song inspires the truth of our human behavior towards ourselves and the planet portraying the principle of consequences of our actions. We live in a world of hate and expecting positive outcome such as “Rain” from the planet in order to feed ourselves. “You reap what you sow”.
