The first trailer for Blind Ambition — Madman Films’ upcoming 2021 Tribeca Film Festival documentary select — has arrived, previewing the movie’s inspiring underdog story of Zimbabwe’s first ever wine tasting sommelier team that set their sights on the coveted title of ‘World Wine Tasting Champions.’

Driven by relentless optimism, a passion for their craft and unshakeable national pride, having escaped economic collapse in their homeland of Zimbabwe,  Tinashe Nyamudoka, Tongai Joseph Dhafana, Marlvin Gwese and Pardon Tagazu in search of a better life, conquered the odds to become South Africa's top sommeliers then eventually team up to represent Zimbabwe.

From the moment they arrive in France to compete, this team of mavericks turns an establishment of privilege and tradition on its head.

'Blind Ambition' was directed by Robert Coe, Warwick Ross, written by Warwick Ross, Robert Coe, Paul Murphy, Madeleine Ross. Produced by Warwick Ross, Robert Coe. (Australia)

The Film is slated to make its debut at the Tribeca Film Festival on Friday, June 11, before landing in theaters at a later date.
