Zimbabwean FinTech Start Up MoneyMart Finance founded by Dr. Ethel C. Mupambwa selected "2023 Fintech Innovation Challenge semi-finalists" by Women's World Banking at Singapore FinTech Festival

Zimbabwean Microfinance Fintech startup MoneyMart Finance was selected among ten semi-finalists at the fourth annual Fintech Innovation Challenge by Women’s World Banking at the Singapore FinTech Festival. This allows Money Mart to compete live at the 2023 Making Finance Work for Women Summit in February 2023.

MoneyMart Finance is a Microfinance bank that focuses on lending money services to Zimbabwean women with no access to funding and financial solutions. It was founded by Dr. Ethel Chiwara-Mupambwa in 2014.

MoneyMart Finance was chosen out of a pool of 98 highly qualified applicants from 34 countries around the world to advance in the only fintech competition whose exclusive focus is closing the gender gap in serving the low-income women’s market.
