This 26-year-old Noky Simbani hails from Zimbabwe and has been in the UK modelling spotlight since way back in 2012 when she joined the Miss Teen Great Britain competition at just 15 years old. In 2017, she clinched the title of "Miss Grand England."

During her chat with Big Brother, Noky Simbani, who works as a banker by day, mentioned that she applied for the show because she enjoys challenges and seeks unique experiences. Her entry into the house was filled with excitement as she immediately started conversations with her fellow housemates.

She stated, "I want to show people what pageant girls are really like and break stereotypes surrounding them," as reported by Wales Online. When asked about what she's looking forward to, she eagerly mentioned the tasks, expressing her competitive spirit. She also shared her excitement about meeting and getting along with everyone, even if they don't talk back. She acknowledged that there would be people she might not get along with, but she saw it as part of the fun.

In addition to her banking job, Noky runs a cake-making business and resides in Hilton. She holds a degree in chemical engineering from the University of Birmingham. The other contestants on this year's show come from various places, including South Wales, Wolverhampton, London, Somerset, Luton, Harrogate, Scunthorpe, Manchester, Coventry, the Isle of Man, Liverpool, the Cotswolds, Glasgow, and Essex.

Big Brother, originally based on a Dutch program from the late 1990s, first aired in the UK in 2000 and ran for a decade on Channel 5. It was rebooted by Channel 4 in 2011 but was cancelled in 2018 due to a drop in viewership.

Now, the show is back on ITV2 and ITVX, with the 2023 series spanning 36 episodes. The new season kicked off on the evening of Sunday, October 8, 2023.
