According to organisers, the event is a gift to all those Jacaranda attendees who felt like October was too long a wait. So what is Carpe Diem? Well to paraphrase a tweet it is the mantra of living life to the fullest brought to life with an unforgettable experience.

Carpe Diem adds to the ever growing family tree of Zimbabwe's Afro House events, and although new it has the potential of being the biggest festival in the genealogy. If Neverland, AfroBeyond and ROOTs had a love child, this would be it.

Headlining the event is some of the very best DJing talent in Zimbabwe and South Africa. The lineup includes:

Ryan Synth

Samuel Cosmic

St. Emmo

Shaku Chante

Tannie Swiss

Oscar Mbo

Prince Kaybee

Tickets are currently on sale at $20 for General Access and $40 for VIP, from Techtools Avondale, Pariah State Avondale and Pariah State Borrowdale.
