Ammara Brown has postponed the release of her sophomore album, Flaming Lily, to a later date in the year.
In a social media post the songstress cited financial constraints that had hampered the album launch as the reason for postponement, but promised fans that they would have the project before the year was out.
"I'm looking at it not as a fail, but trusting God and trusting the process. I'm going to release this album this year, within the next few months for sure," said the singer.
Flaming Lily was set to have a launch on the 5th of September at Reps Theatre, with the album going live on streaming platforms on the 6th.
The project is expected to cap off Ammara Brown’s return to the spotlight, and it will be the singer's first album in 9 years.
