Dancehall star Capleton is scheduled to perform in Zimbabwe this festive season alongside Zimbabwe dancehall artistes Greedysouth has learned. The gig is slated for the Glamis Stadium in the Exhibition Park in December. Announcing the scheduled gig, Godfather Templeman in conjunction with Red Rose Entertainment said the gig was one of the many of the big shows to come next year.
"We are pleased to announce that we have clinched a contract with Capleton for a major gig on December 31. He is coming with a full band of 11 members including his engineer and a chef. Basically, we have learnt from other major shows held this year and we are hoping to produce a fine tuned gig. Although Capleton respects local artistes he insisted on bringing his own band so that he delivers his very best in music.
