Notorious B.I.G. was gunned down in Los Angeles. Devoted fans world wide have been celebrating the memory of the legendary Brooklyn rapper -- who released his first album,
Ready to Die, in 1994, followed by
Life After Death just days after his fatal shooting in 1997. In the days leading up to March 9, Zimbabwean hip hop heads
like Rayhaan Raydizz and Tehn Diamond reminisced the great rap veteran, with statements "R.I.P "B.I.G" Living In Our Memory forever! and quoting Jay with statements like "I See I Said, Jealousy I Said,Got The Whole Industry Mad at Me I Said,Remind Youself Nobody Built Like You, You Design Yourself! R.I.P Biggie!" As for Tehn Diamond, everything was to do with B.I.G from the music to the dressing and even twitter updates.
