In 2011 we the Zimbabwean youth had a lot to brag about, we took a giant step forward to being recognized as a nation with extra ordinary swag. As usual, the leader of the cool kids, Rayhaan broke the local djaying record by being the first ever Zim dj to swag on them live on TV
(With a LV back pack of course!! ) whilst the rest of Africa watched. I knew it was over when I heard him let a "maninja" record skip, and the rest of the BBA house hit the dancefloor like a scene from soft porn.
Bringing the House down for the last time in the Amplified House were Zimbabwe's DJ Raydizz and Zambia's DJ LBC. DJ LBC from QFm took over from DJ Raydizz and at that time the party was already smoking hot. With the girls clad in little numbers save for Sharon O, the booty hopping revealed more than they had bargained for. All the finalists were on their feet including the Wendall, Luclay and Lomwe who are usually wallflowers during the parties. It was obvious that this one was set to shut the House down as the DJs kept the vibes pumping. The drinks were flowing, the music was on point and the atmosphere was electric - what more would the Top 7 wish for?
This was indeed their last dance.
