Dr SID Featuring Alexandra Burke - Baby Tornado Remix

Dr Sid continues to connect the dots on the Afrobeats map worldwide with the brand new video for his single 'Baby Tornado’, featuring homegrown talent Alexandra Burke. The former X Factor winner lends her vocals to the completely infectious track and also takes time out of her current schedule playing Whitney Houston in West End Musical – The Bodyguard, to be re-united with the Nigerian based superstar to create a stunning visual for the track.

Shot by Olehbuckman Productions, a baby room sets the scene for the clip, which sees the world from a baby- Dr Sid's viewpoint. The result is 3 minutes of pop art styled, colorful fun and some heart racing, sexy African dance routines. The video also features cameos from a UK heavy line up of talent including actor Chucky Venn (Eastenders), BBC Radio 1/1Xtra’s DJ Edu, comedian Eddie Kadi, TV presenter - Adora Oleh, CEO Dancers (Britain’s Got Talent finalists) and Wretch 32 to name a few.

Premiering across Africa via MTV Base (Africa), 'Baby Tornado' is the latest in a line of Africa-meets-with-international collaborations. Most recently, British based artist Fuse ODG teamed up with Jamaican dancehall ambassador Sean Paul for the single 'Dangerous Love’. The end result stormed the UK chart at number 3 giving Fuse his third Top 10 single in 12 months.

Dr.Sid is signed to Nigeria’s Mavin Records label, founded by prolific Nigerian music producer, singer/song-writer - Michael ‘Don Jazzy’ Ajereh. Home to some of Nigeria’s hottest and brightest talents including Tiwa Savage and D’Prince, the all-star Nigerian camp has been at the forefront in exporting the afro-pop movement not just to the continent of Africa but to the rest of the world.
