Talking Sneaker Culture: Kickin' it with Kim Jayde Episode 3 Review

This week's episode featured I'm Simply B (Bianca Derousse) a reknowned sneaker collector from Miami, Florida in the US. She's created her own show titled Sneaker Sundays that brings female sneakerheads together from all over. The show also touches on various subjects from fashion, music, designers to mental health. I'm Simply B is also the niece of the legendary Dj Clark Kent. She's also had collaborations with Slick Nick Castellano for limited edition chucks and fashion wear.

The principal discussion of the show was women in the sneaker world. How women often face a harder battle to be respected as genuine collectors and the assumptions that rise up about women with larger sneaker collections. The discussion switched up to how sneaker culture has gone global and it has its own language like music which transcends race, culture or language. I'm Simply B has a collection that takes up two walls in her closet and includes multiple pairs of her favourites because she wears them her lot.

The top 3 most loved sneakers in her collection are:

UNDFTD x Nike Dunk High NL

Dj Clark Kent Air Force 1s Low (Designed for the 20th anniversary of Nike Air Force 1 but never officially released and only a 100 pairs exist)
