The Australia based artist is back with her latest single Kim which seems to pay homage to the Kim's that have made it before her. In the track's video they're tributes to Lil Kim, Kim Kardashian and Kim Possible. The artist who usually bridges on an alternative sounds is in her hiphop element on this although other influences are still identifiable. She collaborates with Georgia rapper Yung Baby Tate.
In a comment Maidza said the idea for the song came from Kim Possible an iconic figure from her childhood who always came out on top.
I wanted to make a song to remind those who question me that I will always figure it out. And once we started planning the video, we had the idea to add iconic moments from other famous Kims in my lifetime.
