From about 2001 to 2007 Zimbabwean music was defined by the "Urban Grooves" genre. A genre that paved the way for the sounds of HipHop, RnB and even Alternative music. Recently The Chamhembe Story was told in a mini series of interviews by same name done by SoProfound.
