Gilmore Khumalo, Tadziripa Madzima & Arnold Chimambo Winners at the Forty Under 40 Africa Awards

Gilmore Qhawe Khumalo, Tadziripa Madzima and Arnold Chimambo walked away winners at the recently held Forty under 40 Africa Awards. They earned awards in the categories of Music & Entertainment, Community Development, and Telecom & Mobile respectively.

The continental awards ceremony was dominated by Nigeria, South Africa and Kenya.

Gilmore Tee Khumalo Forty Under 40 Africa Awards

Gilmore Qhawe Khumalo popularly known as "Gilmore Tee" is an award-winning media practitioner, curator, publicist and content creator. He is the Founder & Creative Director of Paper Bag Africa, a content creation, management and public relations establishment headquartered in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. He is the Founder & Curator of The PiChani, a PAN African lifestyle and business networking platform that integrates young achievers and leaders from different sectors of influence. 


Gilmore is a Forbes 30 under 30 Honoree, GQ Best Dressed Man 2020, European Film Festival Zimbabwe Coordinator and Mandela Washington Fellow. He writes for Conde Nasts – GQ South Africa and GLAMOUR Magazine.


Tadziripa Madzima Forty Under 40 Africa Awards

Tadziripa "Tadzie" Madzima has held numerous marketing leadership roles, most recently as the Chief Marketing Officer at All Hands and Hearts. Before this role, she was the Global Communications and Partnerships Manager at Reach for Change. 


She has a proven record in developing successful marketing campaigns and communication strategies in Africa, Europe and the United States. She is highly skilled in storytelling, pitching and conducting training and workshops on a variety of communication topics. She has trained over 300 social entrepreneurs in communications skills such as pitching, marketing and branding.


Tadzie also gives back through her career guidance initiative IGNITE Youth, which focuses on developing, mentoring and equipping youth to become influential leaders in their local communities, schools and country, helping them to realize their fullest potential.


Arnold Chimambo Forty Under 40 Africa Awards

Arnold Chimambo is the founder of ZODSAT, a fast-growing internet service provider in Zimbabwe. Thanks to his diligent efforts and able leadership, ZODSAT is currently one of the leading internet service providers in the country, focusing on providing essential VSAT, High Fiber internet and Fixed Wireless Broadband to connect homes, communities, and businesses across the country, especially in the rural and remote areas.


The Forty under 40 Africa Awards are held to identify, honour and celebrate a cross-section of the continent's most influential and accomplished young business leaders under the age of forty. They cover a wide range of industries and celebrate individuals who are committed to business growth, professional excellence and community service, those who have risen up the ranks of their companies or industries at a relatively young age as a result of this.


They seek outstanding entrepreneurs, executives, managers and professionals in the public and private and non-profit sectors and recognize attributes such as achievements in business, experience and innovation, vision, leadership and community involvement. This year the awards featured 40 categories and also handed 10 honorary awards.
