R Peels, Tanto Wavie - Pinda: Founder and Pharoah is a combination I didn't know we needed

R Peels, Tanto Wavie - Pinda Song Review

"Founder na Pharoah" is a combination that I didn't know I needed. I had heard the rumour about the release on my Twitter timeline when someone asked, "How dare Winky D drop a project the same day as R. Peels?" I chuckled and dismissed the statement with the contempt it deserved of course, until the YouTube algorithm suggested the track again. Upon seeing Tanto Wavie on the song credits, I got intrigued to press play, and now I'm sitting here writing this review on a Saturday night.

The first thing I like about this track is the Tanto Wavie-produced beat; it's a killer intro with a catchy hook. Tanto blessed us with his usual Sungura Vibes while R. Peels killed the verses. The synergy between their styles is undeniable, creating a fresh and familiar track. "Founder and Pharoah" isn't just a collaboration; it's a testament to the evolving landscape of Zimbabwean Hip-Hop and the endless possibilities when artists come together to push boundaries. This track will be on repeat for a while, and I can't wait to see what else these two have in store for us.
