Harmonies of Expression brings together Zimbabwean & European creatives in the name of the environment

EUNIC Zimbabwe is bringing to life Harmonies of Expression, a fusion of multiple creative disciplines connecting art and science, while also bringing together Zimbabwean and European creatives. The exhibition is set to take place on May 10th, 2025, at National Gallery of Zimbabwe in Harare.

Harmonies of Expression will feature collaborations in disciplines such as fashion, music, food, and dance, with aim of fostering positive conversations on environmental management, climate change and water resources.

These collaborations will see Zimbabwean creatives working alongside artists from France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, and Sweden, creating immersive, thought-provoking works rooted in both science and emotion.

In a unique effort to decentralize access to the arts, the event will also be broadcast in local languages to 14 community radio stations across the country, extending its reach far beyond the capital. A special panel discussion will be held during the event, focusing on climate change in Zimbabwe, featuring a mix of scientists, artists, and community representatives to explore solutions and lived experiences.
