Heralded as a story that crossed oceans and a voice that refused to be quiet, Strangers & Revelations is coming to Reps Theatre Upstairs this March.
The award-winning Zimbabwean stage play written by Chiedza Rwodzi and directed by Matthew Kissa, is presented by Osiyana Studios (Zimbabwe).
In August 2025, Strangers & Revelations premiered at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe to critical acclaim — winning the IC Award at Edinburgh Fringe 2025 and earning a 5-star review from The Independent. It was also featured in The Edinburgh Fest Magazine, Binge Fringe Magazine, and Zimbabwe Daily News.
Blending intimate personal narratives with spirituality, African mythology, and contemporary social issues, Strangers & Revelations places Zimbabwean voices at the centre of the global stage — with honesty, vulnerability, and depth.
The play is set to have 5 showings: 5 March (6:30 pm), 7 March (2:30 pm, 6:30 pm), and 8 March (2:30 pm, 6:30 pm).
Featuring Zimbabwean talents Chiedza Rwodzi and Tafadzwa Bob Mutumbi, Strangers & Revelations is set to tour China later this year following its home performances.
