Acclaimed contemporary Christian musician, Vuyo Brown, has officially announced the release of her long awaited sophomore album, scheduled to drop in June this year.
The upcoming project will be the award-winning singer’s second full-length project in 8 years, following her highly acclaimed debut release in 2018.
“I am excited to announce the upcoming release of my new album. This one will be a huge treat for avid Vuyo Brown music followers. This album is a journey through the many colours of my musical identity, purposefully knitted together to shift realities,” she said.
The Bulawayo based singer has a decade of music under her belt, that has seen her establish herself as a respected voice in Zimbabwean music, known for healing and inspiring music.
Influenced by the likes of Lauryn Hill, Mali Music and Marvin Sapp, Vuyo Brown seamlessly blends genres, creating a unique sonic landscape that defies categorisation. From delicate acoustics to upbeat Afro centric anthems, her melodies soar and dance, carrying the weight of universal emotions.
