The 2026 Changamire Awards: See full winners list

The 11th edition of the Changamire Festival Awards was held on the 28th of April at The Backspace in Newlands, Harare.

Although now wide reaching, the award showcase still had Zimbabwean hip hop as its centrepiece. The big winners on the night were Runna Rulez, Bling4 and Micky Black, who walked away with 2 awards each.

Hulengende and Jnr Spragga, the duo currently facing off for the title of King of Zimdancehall were also winners on the night.

Businessman Kudakwashe Tagwirei received the Community Champion Award, while Pokello Nare's MCC sparkling wine was awarded the Cultural Impact Product Award, and Tatea Da MC was be celebrated with a Lifetime Achievement Award for his role in commercialising Zimbabwean hip-hop.
