Fresh off showcasing at Kolwezi Fashion Week in the DRC, Haus Of Stone will be heading to the Kingdom of Eswatini for the Standard Bank Luju Festival, one of Southern Africa’s largest food, fashion and music festivals.
Haus Of Stone joins Magriza Made Me Cook, one of Zimbabwe’s leading culinary platforms, as the Zimbabwean participants at this year’s festival. The fashion brand's appearance at the festival is Zimbabwe fashion's third consecutive feature, after Saint Academy in 2024 and Icatha in 2025.
Founded in 2023, Haus of Stone Showroom has established itself as one of the leading fashion brands in Zimbabwe. The showroom has evolved into an immersive experiential pop-up that collaborates with strategic lifestyle partners to redefine the landscape of African luxury. The brand champions fashion that is rooted in handcraft and sustainability, curating a collective of like-minded brands dedicated to preserving our design heritage while expanding global market access.
At the core of Haus of Stone is its Founder & Creative Director, Danayi Madondo — a conscious wanderer dedicated to reinterpreting the narrative of the modern African woman. Madondo has worked with organisations such as the British Council, Swiss Embassy and the UNDP. The designer was the recipient of the inaugural Outstanding Female Designer Award at the 2026 NAMA Awards.
Beyond fashion Madondo is a freelance project coordinator, art director, creative image consultant, and also a a Cultural Curator.
