Zimbabwean-American actress, Sipiwe Moyo, is at the heart of Apple TV's Widow's Bay, the comedy horror set to sweep the 2026 Emmy Awards (regarded as the biggest night in television) after garnering 19 nominations, making it the third-most nominated show of the year after The Pitt and Hacks.
Created by Katie Dippold, the series is set in the fictional New England island town of Widow's Bay, which is afflicted by a centuries-old curse that brings various supernatural evils upon the island. Sipiwe plays “Chelle”, wife of Sheriff Bechir who is played by Kevin Carroll. Apple TV has already renewed the series for a second season.
In addition to Widow's Bay Sipiwe Moyo is currently a feature on Power Book III: Raising Kanan.
