US-based Zimbabwean stand up comic, Learnmore Jonasi, is set for a memorable homecoming with the Whose Lion Is It Anyway? Tour set for this August. This will be Jonasi's first performance in Zimbabwe since headlining Shoko Festival's Comedy Night in 2024.
The America's Got Talent finalist will be performing in Bulawayo, Masvingo, and Harare, with a double stop in the capital.
The tour is inspired by the lawsuit brought against him by South African singer and songwriter Lebo M over his interpretation of the Lion King song. Jonasi has turned the eye-watering $27 million federal lawsuit filed against him into comedic inspiration and is embarking on his Look It's A Lawsuit Tour across America.
The comedian is currently riding high on recent successes after Trevor Noah asked him to join South Africa's national team of comedy, Bafunny Bafunny, which will be touring across South Africa. Jonasi will also feature on the premiere episode of Comic View Rooftop Series on BET+.
