"I am a man of my word and I will not disappoint my fans"

Since the emergence of the urban grooves genre, many youthful singers have come and gone with some topping the charts before disappearing into oblivion. For Kawara, time has helped him up his game, especially
by switching from computer-generated music to live instruments.

Kawara also hinted on a new Album in the works.
“My fifth album is already on the cards and should be out by the end of this year. I cannot give exact dates now but as from August onwards I will be able to tell the dates,” Alexio said.
When asked on whether his next project will top his hit Shaina, The musician had this to say.
“My fans should not worry about whether I will be able to match my previous compositions, all I can promise is that I have something in store that is actually better than Shaina. Fans also feared that I may fail to offer anything better than that but that is when I dished out Shaina which is from my current album entitled Kana. So my tradition of getting better with each album still rules.”
Alexio believes in composing songs with relevance to specific periods in Zimbabwe.
“I am a man of my word and I will not disappoint my fans. When I did Musikana Akanaka people thought I would end there, but I went on to do Tinodanana featuring Tererai Mugwadi.
The song Shaina came in 2008, during a period when Zimbabwe was experiencing hardships and everyone needed some form of encouragement despite the gloomy environment. Thus I encouraged Zimbabwe to ‘shine’. Right now I think I know the message Zimbabwe wants to hear, and I will deliver it in a song."
