Harare, Zimbabwe — Handei Digital, a Zimbabwean digital marketing agency specializing in web design, has launched an innovative initiative seeking to capacitate Zimbabwean businesses with online tools.
The agency is inviting small businesses throughout Zimbabwe to participate in a 5-minute survey to be eligible for a complimentary, professionally designed website.
Handei Digital’s initiative aims to lower barriers to digital entry, drive local economic growth, and equip entrepreneurs with the resources necessary to succeed in a digital marketplace that is becoming more prevalent.
The campaign will run year-round and any legally registered small business in Zimbabwe, from artisans and retail shops to agritech startups, may participate by visiting www.zimbabwe.handei.digital and filling out the short survey on the website. All completed surveys will automatically be entered into the draw and winners will be selected at random each month.
“We built this survey to truly listen to Zimbabwe’s entrepreneurs,” said Tanaka Leroy Samukange, founder & UX/UI Designer of Handei Digital. “By tailoring each website to their unique needs, we remove the guesswork and unlock new markets for 24,000 small businesses that might otherwise never afford a professional web presence."
The selected winners will receive a custom built and Conversion Optimized website, along with a year of free support and basic SEO setup.
Handei Digital aims for at least 50% of winners to report a minimum 30% increase in online customer inquiries within six months of going live. These impact metrics will guide future digital-inclusion efforts. The agency will begin the initiative with 5 winners announced per month and ramp up as required by the response they receive.
