Diamonds are forever...


Miss Zimdiamond took place a few nights ago in the United Kingdom and the rep issued this press release so let me quit playing with the scissors and cut the chase...


 Its been a few days since we had the Grande Finale of Miss Zim Diamond 2011 and I still can not believe that it has come and is done after a whole year of plugging Miss Zim Diamond, the final took place and oh what a memorable event. I feel so humbled by all the people who came out to support us & just the great feeling of community and support that filtered through the room. It was great to feel the love and support from the audience and for that I thank you. Many have rated the show a success and I believe with out the support of the people it could never have gone as well as it did. We can only improve next year!

Today I want to really appreciate every one for taking the time out to attend and support Miss Zim Diamond 2011. Primrose Mutsigiri & Tafadzwa Musarurwa of Panache Partyz thank you for hosting the show, it definateley was not the easiest role to have on such a busy night. Bkay N Kazz our Ambassadors the opening with The Zim Diamond anthem song was just amazing with the ladies wearing they TOP KOSSO t-shirts sponsored by Terrie Mahati & Ju'ce Danga of Zimstyles. Oh & your renidition of the Bob Marley song was amazing- Kimberley Rose Kasirowore- Your Diamond poem set a great platform for what was yet to come. Can we make it the official Zim Diamond Poem?? Oh then we had entertainment with a difference from the amazing Donna Thompson known as Donna Africa originally & proudly Zimbabwean but travelled all the way from Norwhich to entertain & judge- Thank you Donna you were fabulous & you rocked.

Karen Stally of Zuwa you serenaded the audience with your amazing voice & every one appreciated your music, thank you. Jusa Abra Dementor wow what a way to introduce the ladies in African attire with your amazing song Bhundu girl. Boyz Retonaz you pulled it off & even rapped some Ndebele, how impressive was that? Cynthia Mare, you have supported from the very start & you performance was out of this world. Lance Guma , you were very professional & always reassuring so thank you for presenting. Big Mike and King Alfred you handled the sound and the programme with such amazing professionalism and calm. To my judges thank you for taking on a difficult task and taking your roles very seriously, Viola Ncube, Justina Mutale, Mona Thomas, Cynthia Muvirimi, Donna Thompson, Dereck Chisora & Marco Singorini thank you ! To my wonderful team, three very inspirational ladies, Pamela Kaseke for your firm but caring & empathtic way of managing the girls & taking care of all the nitty grity staff. Shirley James your professional experience and amazing admin and adjudication contributions, also being firm but supportive with the girls. Nokthula Sithole you are the girls trusted mentor.

To those that supported me leading up to the event, Conrad Mwanza for all your support behind the scenes. Mandla Stone amazing work on the website. Mike Tashaya your support right from the beggining with the Branding & website and being committed to my vision, thank you!
