Jacaranda Music Festival Announces The First Phase Of Artists For Its 2022 Edition

Jacaranda Music Festival is set to make its first full return in three years this year. The festival is set to take place at Old Hararians Sports Club from 7 - 9 October. Dubbed as one of Harare's best musical festivals, this will only be the event's 4th edition following disruptions by Covid-19 that saw it not being held in 2020, and taking place in 2021 at the restricted venue with a small crowd.

The event returns this year under the name Stanbic Bank Jacaranda Music Festival, as the bank struck a deal to be the event's title sponsor. Today the first phase of artists set to perform was released under Group A. The artists include Enzo Ishall, Zonke, DJ King Her, Fusion 5 Mangwiro, The Travellors Band, Bongo Maffin, and Feli Nandi. More artists are set to be announced soon, along with more information on ticket sales for the festival.

Jacaranda Music Festival 2022

The annual event is the brainchild of Walter Wanyanya of Ngoma Nehosho, and it first took place in 2018 at Hellenic Sports Club. Attended by a crowd of 2,000+ it instantly stole the hearts of many festival goers and its next edition saw it attract even larger crowds. The annual event not only features 2 days of music performances but music business conferences and workshops.
