1925 Glen Norah in collaboration with Abantu World are bringing together a multidisciplinary experience by Zimbabwean creatives based home and abroad to celebrate the 2025 Africa Day at National Gallery of Zimbabwe.
Set for Sunday 25 May, from 2 pm to 6 pm, the showcase wil feature presentations, a panel discussion and DJ set. At the centre of it all will be the power of collaboration.
"I strongly believe that when Zimbabweans—wherever we are in the world—work together, we create something truly powerful. Our shared contributions amplify each other, and events like this are a reminder of that synergy," shared Valentine Eluwasi, the 1925 Glen Norah founder and event organiser.
"This was put together in just seven days, and I’m incredibly grateful to the artists and community who made it possible: Charisse and Tawanda from the diaspora; Sabina, Chipo, and Ulenni from home. My deepest thanks also go to the team at the National Gallery of Zimbabwe. I hope this celebration becomes a blueprint for how we continue to collaborate and contribute—together."
