Long John The Comedian came out on top at the recent edition of A-List Comedy's Ultimate Comedy Competition, held at the RoleCall Theater in Atlanta. Two nights of comedy competition culminated in a final round on Saturday that saw thirteen comics facing off. The competition was hosted by Alyx Libby and featured a special appearance from Carter Deems of MTV’s Wild ’N Out.

According to Long John for winning the The A List Comedy Competition, he gets the following first place prizes:
- $1,000 cash

- automatic acceptance into Red Clay Comedy Festival

- headlining set at RoleCall Theatre
- headlining set with Damon Sumner Presents

Long John has been racking up the performances across the US, with sets at the Vail Comedy Festival, Rubber City Comedy Festival, Cozzy's Comedic Club among others. The comedian is also presently seeking funding for his green card as he seeks to pursue more opportunities in the US.
