Vimbai Masiyiwa and Peace Wutawunashe named on Forbes Africa's 2024 30 under 30 list

Forbes Africa magazine is celebrating 10 years of it's 30 under 30 Africa list this year. Their annual listing of African world changers under the age of 30. Revealed last week, the 2024 list features 2 Zimbabweans in Vimbai Masiyiwa and Peace Wutawunashe. The duo are named alongside the likes of Fireboy DML, Tyla, Nadine Roos and Victor Osimhen among others.

This years list is dominated by South uAfrica, with 14 names coming from country. The career makeup of individuals is still as eclectic as ever, with business persons, sportspersons, artists and CEOs from a wide selection of sectors making the list.


Ten years, of profiling record-breakers, history-makers and risk-takers determined to rewrite the narrative on Africa. The 10th anniversary of FORBES AFRICA’s 30 Under 30 list is testament to the unmistakable potential and talent pool that exists on a continent boasting the world’s youngest population, and their role in together crafting Africa’s growth story.

Vimbai Masiyiwa

Vimbai Masiyiwa is the executive director of Batoka Hospitality limited, a purpose-driven hospitality company and the first black female-owned safari lodge group in Africa. She co-founded the company with her mother Tsitsi Masiyiwa. Batoka Hospitality is a luxury eco-tourism and community development group.


In 2022, the entrepreneur was voted, alongside Princess of Wales Kate Middleton, as one of the 2022’s best-dressed women by UK’s Tatler magazine.

Peace Wutawunashe

Peace Wutawunashe is the founder of Trigershot Engineering.


Trigershot Engineering are specialists in civil/structural engineering, solar installation and construction across Zimbabwe.
