After a year of relative silence, Rolling Ragerz, one of Harare's most energetic creative driven music platforms is set to make its return.
The platform will be hosting its debut Day to Night Edition on Saturday July 25 at Fairy Café, promising what organisers describe as their biggest and most immersive event yet.
"We took our time to make this upcoming Rolling Ragerz show a memorable and unforgettable experience for our Ragerz, creating moments that will live forever in their hearts with good music and good people," shared the platform's organisers.
Unlike the previous editions, the Day to Night Edition expands beyond a traditional music show into a full scale festival experience.
Attendees can expect a packed daytime programme featuring DJ sets, live performances, a photobooth, market stalls, a henna booth, a tattoo bar, beer pong, glow in the dark makeup, and pool, before transitioning into a high energy nighttime celebration culminating in what the organisers call "full on rager time."
The decision to introduce a day to night format comes from a desire by the platform to offer fans something bigger than previous editions.
Since its inception, the Rock & Roll inspired platform has been carving out a unique identity within Zimbabwe's alternative music and youth culture scene. Rather than simply hosting performances, the platform has built it’s reputation around creating an atmosphere where music, fashion, creativity and community collide.
The coming edition's lineup features an exciting mix of established and emerging talent, including Icey Ekxne, Slyme Foxx, Block 2, Pia, Skylah Bluew, Leodale, Benefit Tanaka, The Serpant, Monty, Ab3l X, Donne Jovi, ItsDontWorry, Bhanshee, Dray Blcvk, Steven Grant, Sag3th3philosopher, Scott, Drena Diego, Fortune Ftee and Juno Funk. Hosting duties will be handled by Naledi and Sweet Tzunami.
The event will mark Rolling Ragerz's 6th edition, including the pop-up events previously hosted in different cities.
