Munya Chawawa features in the animated superhero film DC League of Super-Pets alongside Hollywood big stars Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Kevin Hart who play the lead roles. The comedian plays a corgi and he joked he was living up to his surname (As it sounds close to Chihuahua we believe). The film which was released on the 29th of July 2022 became Munya Chawawa's big screen debut.
DC League of Super-Pets is an American computer-animated superhero comedy film produced by Warner Animation Group, based on the DC Comics superhero team Legion of Super-Pets. The film is directed by Jared Stern his theatrical directorial debut, who co-wrote it with John Whittington. The film stars the voices of Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Kate McKinnon, John Krasinski, Vanessa Bayer, Olivia Wilde, Natasha Lyonne, Diego Luna, Thomas Middleditch, Ben Schwartz, Keanu Reeves and Munya Chawawa.
